Released
We encourage you to take the US News rankings – and all rankings for that
matter – with a grain of salt and not to choose one school over another solely
because it is ranked a point or two higher at one particular moment. You can

New Law School Offering 50 Full Scholarships
The Liberty University law school, in Lynchburg Virginia, will offer at least
50 full-tuition scholarships to students who gain admission to the inaugural
class now enrolling for the fall 2004 semester. Jerry Falwell, the chancellor of
Liberty University stated, "We are looking for radical students who can make and
interpret laws to bring this nation back to the Judeo-Christian ethic upon which
it was founded." Encouraging News Regarding Career Placement
We have not yet seen any official numbers for
the Class of 2004, but individuals to whom we have spoken indicate they believe
the improving economy will benefit the current third-year students in terms of
numbers of job offers and starting salaries.

Fall 2003 Preliminary Law School Applications Are Up!
The official numbers from LSAC (www.lsac.org)
support our suspicions that law
school applications increased again this year. They are officially up 11.1%. We
haven't come across a law school yet this fall that claims applications are down
from last year's high levels.
